DART offers NRA Home Firearms Safety Classes to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely handle firearms within their own homes. These classes are designed to educate participants on the fundamentals of firearm safety, including the proper storage and handling techniques. Through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on training, participants will learn about the different types of firearms, ammunition, and key safety rules to follow. Additionally, these classes cover topics such as how to safely load and unload firearms, as well as the importance of ensuring the firearm is always pointed in a safe direction. By taking part in NRA Home Firearms Safety Classes, individuals can enhance their understanding of firearm safety and promote responsible gun ownership.
